Three people have been killed and one critically injured after a car with five occupants crashed through a fence and down an embankment in Barnet. Police were called on Sunday, 14 April, to the incident at Staples Corner retail park. The car, a Mercedes CLK convertible, struck a footbridge after crashing through a fence. All five occupants were men in their early 20s. Three died at the scene, while two were hospitalized. The cause of the crash is under investigation. No arrests have been made. Road closures were in place during recovery. Witnesses are urged to contact police with information.
