The Metropolitan Police have arrested a woman and started an investigation into the death of a man in Chingford. Police were called at around 1.00pm on Tuesday 19th February to a house in Glenever Close, Chingford E4.

A man in his 60s was found dead at the scene. The man is yet to be identified and police are trying to find his next of kin.

A woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. She was also taken to hospital with to receive treatment for burns.

The investigation continues and a crime scene remains at the address.
